About Chef Gautam

Chef Gautam Chaudhry represents the exclusive group of creative chefs who pioneered the trend of Progressive Indian Cuisine. Having started his career with the Radisson Group, Chef Gautam went on to work with The Oberois. He was instrumental in launching “Three Sixty Degrees” at The Oberoi’s New Delhi, before heading to the Tanzore Restaurant and Lounge in the very glamorous Beverly Hills, USA.

As the Executive Chef of Tanzore, he used his fascination for Indian regional cuisine and coupled it with intensive experimentation to create some unique dishes, which made the restaurant so famous for its innovative menu that even the Michelin Guide took notice. Over next 2 years, he established himself as one of Beverly Hills’ most acclaimed Chefs and his restaurant received numerous awards and accolades.

He came back to India and rejoined the Radisson Group briefly. He followed this with a long and successful stint with the Hyatt Group through their Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune properties. When in Bengaluru, he conceptualized the award-winning restaurant The Pink Poppodom wherein he reshaped the perception of Indian Cuisine with his bold and contemporary cooking. The restaurant not only won an award for Best Modern Indian cuisine by BBC Good Food that year but has continued receiving accolades from the Times Food Awards through 2012, 2013, 2014 and is garnering praise from guests and patrons even today.

Most recently, Chef Gautam added yet another feather to his cap by being listed as one of India’s Top 10 Chefs by Hotelier India. Today he operates GC Food World Pvt. Ltd., which provides complete food solutions for F&B establishments. The company currently operates with a few F&B establishments in India and is managing Giant Foods LLC’s operations in Dubai which run a successful healthy meal service along with a few QSR outlets.
